(-- includes definitions of File A, File C, and the B-list).
Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) have been
integrated into the matching process and the title display. They are
used to rank the title B-list, putting at the top terms that have
stronger A-C connections (because they have subject headings in common
in addition to title words and phrases.) All terms having rank 0 are
automatically eliminated from B-lists, thus reducing the need for
manual editing. MeSH terms that occur in both File A and
File C are included in the title display, and are marked "MHB".
